A pallet is described as a loading device used for carrying or combining e. g. goods or materials into a loading device. It has many uses, mainly in warehouse, handling and transportation. It is lifted and stacked with the help of forklifts both for storage and retrieval and for transport. There are different types of pallets, the most common dimensions being the europallet with 1200 x 800 x 144 mm (length x width x height) and 1,000 kg load capacity.
