The stock-taking is the recording of all assets, in particular all inventories, for the correct determination of a company's current assets. The WMS supports the stock-taking process by planning and tracking the inventory count. The stock-taking results are usually evaluated in the ERP system. The stock-taking is supported in different ways (e.g. annual stock-taking, sampling stock-taking, permanent stock-taking). The actual design of the required functionality depends on the legal and organisational framework of the client.
