Maintainable parameters are used to configure the WMS. Some parameter changes are effective immediately, some only after a (partial) restart. Parameters that have a more complex influence on the behavior or operation of the system should only be changeable by administrators or key users. Parameters that have little influence on the system behavior and parameters that are mainly used for display can as well be modified by the user himself. These parameters are usually maintained directly in the productive system. The corresponding dialogs are available in the WMS for this purpose.
