Outgoing goods

Outgoing goods is the area in a company where the goods to be delivered are physically removed from storage, booked out from stock and compared with advised quantities in terms of content and quantity. The task of outbound goods is to create deliveries or loads and includes the following possible subprocesses:

• order management
• order picking
• consolidation
• packing
• dispatch
• delivery feedback
