Transport Management

The transport management is responsible for managing all movements of storage aids / transport aids in the warehouse from a source to a sink through transfer orders. In transport management, all available transport subsystems are defined, such as conveyor systems, forklifts, mobile data entry terminals (for manually executed transports). Route parameterization and transport order planning are used to carry out transports. Additional functionality can be found in the categories “Forklift guidance system” and “Material flow control”.
