Value added services

Value Added Services (VAS) are value-adding services provided in the warehouse. In order to be able to invoice the activities separately, the accounting-relevant data is recorded and made available within the framework of the VAS. Labelling such as price labelling in retail, repackaging or assembly activities are distinguished as VAS. For the latter, it is often necessary to process bills of material in advance. The value-adding activity is very often carried out by the logistics service provider on behalf of its customer (the client).
