Pick-by-voice

As a variant of paperless order picking, pick-by-voice works with a voice-controlled system. For this, the picking personnel receive acoustic instructions on pick lists and acknowledgement through a headset, including, for example, the storage location and the number of articles. As soon as the task has been completed by voice input, this information is booked directly into the central host system. This allows picking errors to be enormously reduced and operators to have a more flexible work process. Modern systems already offer multilingual and speaker-independent versions that make it even easier and faster for employees to use.
