Kit building


The term kit building (also “set building”) is used to describe the process of compiling a kit. A kit comprises a kit head and one or several kit components. The kit head is the material that is ordered. The kit components are the individual parts that form a kit by assembly in the warehouse either during the order picking process or separately at a work station.
