Terminal

Traditionally, the term terminal is known in logsitics as a transhipment point for goods, where they are transferred to other modes of transport. Examples are container or port terminals. In addition, a terminal is a mobile data terminal that constantly communicates with a data processing system by means of radio contact. It has a display in the form of a screen, a keyboard and a scanner for input. It can be thought of as a large remote control with a screen, and now also as a tablet.
