EN DE Print Terminology change Old Version Benchmark Remarks

Package Optimisation

Package optimisation means an optimised composition of a package under given restrictions. Restrictions can be that the package must not exceed a certain weight or that the existing volume of a packaging unit is optimally used, up to the calculation of the packaging scheme and the necessary sequencing in order picking. Package optimisation can be applied at the level of the packages or load carriers for order picking or also for freight space optimisation for transport.
