Annual stocktaking

In an annual inventory, a representative quantity of the total stock is counted on one or a few days. For this purpose, the inventory is extrapolated using a mathematical-static procedure. It is also common to count higher-value articles separately in a full inventory and the lower-value articles in an annual inventory.
