Reverse kitting

Reverse kitting means that a kit can be disassembled back into its original components. This process is used, for example, if kits are no longer needed, if the bill of material of a kit has changed, or if a kit was received via a customer return. Reverse kitting can be carried out with or without a bill of materials.
