Multi-tenant architecture

In a multi-tenant architecture, in contrast to a single-tenant architecture, each instance of the software serves several customers. Each customer works with its own application instance, so that although the customers share a common database, the customers' respective data remains separate and is not visible to the other customers. For each customer, individual adjustments can be made to the respective application instance.
