Storage area

A storage area represents an organizational unit in the warehouse structure of a warehouse. The storage area is positioned between the storage bins and the storage types. A storage area can group several storage locations with the same characteristics. Storage areas are often created based on the properties of materials in a storage type, such as weight (heavy materials), volume (bulky materials), temperature (materials to be cooled), turnover rate (fast-moving items).
