Batch picking

In batch picking, the picking orders are combined into a batch. The picking is order-neutral and material-oriented in the first stage. The picker cannot see any reference to customer orders. After the first stage of order picking, the order picked materials are sorted to customer orders in a second stage, e.g. into sorting compartments at the packaging work station or by a sorter.
