Receipt

During receipt, the advanced shipping note, accompanying papers (e.g. delivery note) and the actually delivered goods are compared and booked. With this the stock is created in the WMS. Material and documents are usually identified using bar codes or RFID. Deviations must be taken into account appropriately (e.g. excess or short deliveries, incorrect material).
