Order-independent material staging

In case of order-independent material staging, the staging units are provided without any actual order reference, e. g. on shelves or in the floor block. One form of order-independent material staging is the use of a KANBAN system. The most common form of order-independent material staging is the replenishment procedure, in which replenishment is carried out up to the maximum stock level when the minimum stock is undercut.
